DIY Thank You Notes for Kids (and a printable!)

We celebrated Ben's third birthday last weekend and I wanted to send some simple, kid-friendly thank you notes. Ben's been into coloring lately, so I designed a simple, black-and-white card he could decorate himself. Read on to see how I (we!) put it together and how you can download the design for free!

I printed two cards on an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of white card stock. The front has a simple message (thank you + love, Ben) and the back has a stripe design and a note about our new address.

I trimmed the cards to an A2 size (5.5 x 4.25 inches) so they'd fit into a standard A2 envelope. I had Ben color the front and back of the cards. He grabbed an envelope and wanted to color that too, so we went for it.

I kept the notes short and sweet, using a Sharpie to write them. When I asked Ben to pose with one of them, he was happy to do so! I think he's actually pretty proud of them.

I really tried not to over-think this one, and it paid off. We got these done in one morning, and both Ben and I had a good time doing it. If you'd like to use this design for yourself, you can download the front for free HERE and the back HERE. Enjoy!
